About Me
My name is Heather Peters and I am the Illustrator and Designer behind Inky Splatter, based in Melbourne Australia, and sell worldwide.
Drawing at my grandma's house are some of the first memories I have and I have never stopped. While drawing and painting both by hand and digitally are my top choices when it comes to art and creating, I have never said no to any type of art, craft and creation. I love trying new things, experimenting with new mediums and media, from knitting, polymer clay and ceramics, jewellery, paper crafts, resin and print making to name a few. Photography has also been a passion which travelling has helped shape and develop my skills and eye for a 'kodak moment'. I never venture far without paper, pencils and a camera.
I love quirky, creepy images and love all things 'Alice in Wonderland'.
I get drawn into my art sometimes even using my hands to push the pigments around.
Each work has a been given time and thought, even if the actually process was quick, no less substance or effort has been put in.
